Last month, I spent a day exploring Point Reyes National Park with a handful of fellow lady photographers. Ever since moving to the Bay Area, I've been amazed by the incredible women I've met who are also small-business owners, women who are excited to collaborate with and encourage the new kid in town. Working from home can feel isolating at times, especially while living in a new city, but I am grateful to have been welcomed into a collaborative community that has made me feel very much at home. Spending a day exploring the coast with this crew was a great celebration of the fact that we're all in this together, and sometimes we just need to get out and explore.
