I met Drew a few years ago on a trip to Seattle and the next summer he introduced me to his lovely girlfriend Jillian at a wedding that I was shooting. Thanks to the goodness of the universe, our paths crossed again a few times over the next couple of years and suddenly Jillian became one of my closest friends. This girl has a heart of gold, celebrates like none other, is one of the best listeners in the world and bonus– is a total babe. Drew is one of the best men I've ever met and I just love the way that he loves Jillian.
The night Drew proposed to Jillian, he filled her house with all of her closest friends to pop champagne and celebrate the fact that they were going to get married. It was such a joyous evening and I know that their life together is going to be filled with many more beautiful days like that one. They’re the kind of couple that makes those around them believe in beauty and in love.
On their wedding day, I have the honor of standing next to them and wholeheartedly supporting them as they get married, so I was pretty excited to have the opportunity to take their engagement photos. Because, as stated before, they are BABES. We went to The Bowl, this secret beach that feels in so many ways like it belongs to our group of friends, and made some pretty photos.
